I enjoyed the first two books in this Disney stories retooled as romance novels Meant to Be series but this is by far my favorite. I'm not sure I'd read a full length novel by this author, but now have learned that I've read a short story in an anthology under her pen name. This story was so good! The Little Mermaid was by far my fave Disney movie as a kid and this story has so many great references (some more obvious than others, all of which I loved finding). Plus, the story is about musicians, and one of my fave parts of the original movie was the songs. Definitely a fave that I'll want to read again! (For those who care: this is closed door as far as things are alluded to but nothing on page or explicit--not sure Disney would let them take it that far 😂). #23for23 bk.21
