I realized that I was just pushing through this to try to finish it by the end of the year, and not because I was actually enjoying it. Don't need to finish books that I'm not actually enjoying! It wasn't a bad book, just kind of meh.

The fact that I'm almost fifty percent through a book in which AIs exist and the main character hasn't figured out that her neighbor is an AI yet based on his bizarre behavior is just a bit unfathomable.
