I wasn't sure how I would feel about this one, but as it turns out it's not my thing. It's a bit meandering, a bit full of stereotypes, and the narrative back and forth between timelines wasn't working for me. It also gave me the impression that it was going to get pretty heavy pretty quickly, which wasn't the impression I got from the synopsis.

(Important to note that this one does have good reviews on almost every site I checked, so it really might just be me.)
