Thousand Autumns: Qian Qiu (Novel) Vol. 2 by Meng Xi Shi
4.0
“The reason why I’m met with betrayal after betrayal isn’t because I’m naive.” he said evenly. “It’s because I belive that kindess will always exist. If there were no fools like me, where would Yan Zongzhu find your pleasure?”
While shen qiao’s character isn’t my favorite, but i do apreciate how determine he was in believing the ‘good’ of everyone. i feel like the author also never tried to pin shen qiao as the pure and innocent rather than brave, strong and beautiful. On the other hand, yan wushi was very hard to understand for me, at least until this volume i don’t really get why he did what he did as we only know him from the point of view of others. Lastly, i saw this volume got a lot of mix review, but for me personaly i really love it despite the never ending new characters lol
