The History Between Us by Ashley James

4.0

I’ve loved every book in this series, and this was no exception. What follows is my general rambling thoughts…..
How hot was it that William got hot with the forbidden aspect, and the thrill and danger of being caught?
And when Colt had his first epiphany at Max’s party of what was at stake for William, that was the beginning of the end of his hook up era.
I love Roger. He knew all along.
I’m curious about the foreshadowing of fathers knowing what their sons are up to…..Roger with William and Max knowing about Colt, Shooter, and Cope.
I’ve read my fair share of father’s best friend tropes but this one may absolutely be the hottest. Maybe because Colt is the instigator. Maybe because he has no problem at all being flirty and in control. It’s not that often you see the younger in this role. Conrad as Williams friend also showed him as a real person, where as in the previous books he kind of felt like a prop. I know his story is next and it was teased just the right amount.
