This is a powerful premise and I was very excited to listen to the audiobook, narrated by the author, and hear her story.

I felt like I listened to it but I wasn’t really told much? If that makes sense. I wish there was more detail and depth in parts. But given it’s a memoir, it’s not my place to tell someone how to tell their story.
