A second chance, sapphic, holiday romance!  The beginning was strong enough for me to get to the middle and from the 20% mark until 82% as fantastic. Holly jolly, small town queer magic and romance. But the third act break up made me want to shout and throw the book down. However I’d definitely read more of Fern Falls before for a debut it was all the magical vibes I needed. 

I don’t like how our main character gives up “fake souless LA” for the small town to run and owned an Inn when that was never a dream before. Her reasons for leaving wer valid and her relationship with her dad wasn’t handled with care either, 7 years?? That’s crazy. Over a woman??? No.
