This is a short story that is a little far out of my wheel house. It's a sci-fi book, but the end had a twist I was not expecting.
Some of the writing didn't come together for in the story line, the last bit about Pearl & Adam.
I think there's more potential for this book, if it was longer, to string all the different scenes together so they become more cohesive and flow better.
Overall, I wasn't mad at trying out a book outside my genre wheelhouse.
