Maybe in Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid

How on earth does this have such good reviews? As another reviewer stated, "cinnamon rolls and high buns are not a personality." The philosophy behind the plot is also pretty flawed, since "whatever is meant to be will be" turns into "whatever my whim is will come true," and there are no negative consequences for any of Hannah's stupid, stupid decisions. A perfect job and a perfect man (men, even), and a baby all just land in her lap despite her awful flaws. It's also like half the novel was copy/pasted and the redundancies make the whole book slow and boring. Only Julia Whelan got me through the whole thing, but even her greatness gets 0 stars for this mess. For FAR better treatments of this conceit see: If/Then (musical), Community (darkest timeline episode).
