There was a lot to like about this book—the writing is really pretty, and most of the characters are really well drawn out (I particularly loved Toni and Lilly.) I read this book in a couple of days, and the first half was definitely exciting and tense. But despite all of the obstacles Seb and Toni had going against them, the story managed to not be that tense or dramatic, especially in the second half. It was definitely more focused on the characters and what it would take for two broken people to come together, but there came a certain point where it was obvious that they would be together, and after that the book lost me a little bit.
