I really liked the potential that this one had. Overall, I still enjoyed it, and it was hard to put down and read. But I really wished that the suspense/thriller side would've had more focus. It just seems like the FMC's identity was just too easily revealed, and she was supposed to be in WITSEC. If I remember right, they had her exposed before the end of the first third of this one and this is a 5 books series. They could've blackmailed her longer, and they could've been a slow burn, but instead, it was a very bullying romance/enemies to lovers. The smut even took over quite a bit and for it being the first book in this continuous story I think slow burn would've worked a lot better. It needed that tension for me.
