Finally! A 5-star rating for this year!! Hopefully this helps me get over my reading slump.

So anyway, the fourth installment to the ToG series is amazeballs!! Still a series I absolutely love and look forward to return to. Can't believe I'm down to the last 2 books of the series. *cries*

Three standouts in Queen of Shadows:

1. Aelin - well, duh, what's not to love of our queen?

2. Manon - she has always intrigued me and I adored her even more on this one.

3. Lysandra - a pleasant surprise!! Gaaaaah, not vapid AT ALL.

*sigh* I love strong women. Yay, girl power!! ...but still loving Rowan.
