Ordinary Heroes: A Memoir of 9/11 by Joseph Pfeifer
5.0
Type of read: Commuter Read.
What made me pick it up: I was searching for books, specifically something different from what I've been reading over the last few months, and 'Ordinary Heroes' popped up.
Overall rating: "Everyone is asking me, what happened, what happened?... Hell is what happened."
An absolutely gut-wrenching account of one man's experience on 9/11/2001, 'Ordinary Heros' gave me chills. This book goes into so much more than just the day of the attacks. To be honest, I have no words. I would strongly recommend Ordinary Heroes. It's an unapologetic look into not just 9/11 the day, but also the rebuilding and learning that went on because of the horrible events that took place.
