Unfortunately, this book wasn’t for me, and I DNF’d it at 34%. The idea of the book sounded great, and the beginning was promising, but after the first few chapters, I felt things started to move too quickly and felt rushed

Personally, I would have liked to see a bit more build-up and description in certain impactful moments instead of those events happening in just one or two sentences before jumping to the next scene. But of course, that’s just a personal preference.

This wasn’t a bad book by any means, and I’m sure many readers will love it. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t the right fit for me.
