If “we listen and we don’t judge” was a book. This gave Waiting to Exhale vibes with three best friends who have major drama in their lives and fear time is slipping away from them. Dallas is a single mother learning her self-worth, Sasha is a woman looking for a distraction to fill a void, and Candace is a woman hesitant to take a risk on the unknown.
They all felt like homegirls you were rooting for to get it together. Some of the (male and female) characters’ actions were frustrating, but that just made it more relatable and believable. The plot was good, but discrepancies with some details prevented me from giving it a higher score.
