The Stranger in Her House by John Marrs

4.0

I listened to this one on Audible, the narration is great.
The characters all suck the big one, who am I even rooting for in this one? Literally no one but I loved the way it all played out. It's hard to like a book with unlikable characters but this one does it. It had me fully invested and wanting to find out more about what was going on, Connie constantly being a step behind was just as frustrating for me as it felt for her.

📢 Spoiler 📢 I am rarely a fan of an unreliable narrator. I don't feel like that type of trickery is necessary but that's a personal preference. I just felt like it was an attempt to get you to root for Connie and forget she's just as terrible.
