This book is more memoir than the title lets on, but that isn't a bad thing. This book is a memoir, an ode to the things we love to hate and hate to love, poetry, and a meditation on love, sex, identity, youth, and food. It's funny, and sad, and silly, and deep  It's just really so goddamn good. If Rax King and I had been in the same MFA program, I would have been so jealous but also her biggest cheerleader.
