Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare
5.0
It has been way too long since I actually finished a book! But I found myself once again enamored by its pages when I picked up where I left off. Lady Midnight was not a bad read per se, it did not made me lose my reading streak. No, it's nothing like that. This year just really has been very busy which I am still grateful for despite the lack of books.
Anyway, I really enjoyed Lady Midnight! I missed that world of the Shadowhunters so much! I'm still getting used to the idea of kids running around with the main protagonists but Julian and Emma were such a joy to read and get acquainted with! Will Herondale is still on the top of my list of crushes in the Shadowhunter world, but Julian is actually sitting comfortably in second place! And Emma is easily my favorite female Shadowhunter!! Tessa wasn't one and Clary didn't sit well with me as TMI went on. Lol. But yeah, woohoo, Emma and Julian!! Hope the following books won't make me change my mind about these two.
