now T H I S is how you write a thriller. this made me feel frustrated, anger, horrified, and hopeful towards the end. this truly spooked me because of how realistic this all was - from the weird and creepy uber rides to the very true depiction of gentrification. i adored the main characters. they were flawed in every way and you couldn’t help but root for them! the last third made me so proud because for once we get main characters who don’t make any stupid decisions and turn out so bad ass. this definitely needs to be adapted into a movie, it was giving get out vibes!
