Sanderson has done it again. I don’t know how he can create such expansive worlds, sub plots, complex magic systems, side characters, and themes and somehow make it all come together—but he does.
This is the second book in the Stormlight Archive, and, as with other Sanderson series I’ve read, I think it gets even better than the first. Our favorite cast of characters is back, and some of them even get to FINALLY meet up. Seriously, I thought it would never happen and when it finally did, I was ready to weep tears of joy. This book seemed to love the story forward a lot more than the first one did, and set up the rest of the series to be a high-stakes scramble to save the world. I can’t wait.
As always, Dalinar has my heart. ILY.
