Just the Nicest Couple by Mary Kubica
4.0
4.5 stars
Over the last years, I have read quite a few of the author’s books and they also surprised me in the best possible way.
That’s the case with Just the nicest couple as well. A well written book, an interesting story overall and so many suspenseful moments that builds up to the unexpected twists at the end.
The two couples have secretes to hide, one of them more than the other and when Jake is gone missing for more than a few days, his wife wants to find out what happened to him.
I honestly thought that the killer was Lily but contrary to wheat the author is pointing out throughout the story, the end left me a bit speechless.
It’s twisted and suspenseful, a must read story for adrenaline rush readers.
