Another gem of a book from Mimi Matthews. Ivo Beresford and Meg Burton-Smythe are the children of the sworn enemies in Gentleman Jim. Of course, they must fall in love. The story is handled deftly. While there are only kisses, the sexual attraction and passion infuse the story. Matthews is expert at building that tension, and continues to succeed in Appointment in Bath. I read her books for comfort and when I need to feel lightness. Appointment in Bath will be added to that rotation.
