When your mission leads to something else

This book was fantastic.

Daughter of a Hero gets sent to the Academy of Villains. Of course she also has to pose as a boy. She of course is assigned as a minion and Cain becomes her Villain.

Cain quickly discovers the she isn't a he and vows to help her out. Check mate will have him helping however needed.

I absolutely love the relationships that grow between Cain and Alyssa as well as with Tristian.

Alyssa has always wondered how she always wanted to rebel against the hero norms. As she learns more about the villains will she discover she fits in Vetter with them or that maybe she is a bit of both?

The details in the classes, challenges, relationships, and secrets is fantastic. There were some serious twists I absolutely never expected and left me in shock.

I'm so invested in this story and can't wait to see what is next for Alyssa, Cain, Tristan and the Academy of Villains.
