This book was BIZARRE. The pacing was slow and it took me awhile to even understand what was going on, but the writing was lovely, which kept me engaged even when I was thinking, “I don’t know what the heck this is about.” I thought it would just be a solid three star book, but then in the last couple of chapters a twist took place that got me good and brought it up to four. I’m glad I stuck with it, because the ending was both surprising and satisfying.
