I think this has been my favorite volume so far. I haven't read the manga in full I think since I was in middle school lol so all of these details, that to my knowledge, weren't in either anime, were incredible to see!
I.e., like Armstrong's hesitation and show of mercy towards Roa, which Bradley unfortunately notices - a sad parallel to his hesitation in Ishval. Little details like this make me love Armstrong as a character even more!

Additionally, meeting Greed and his crew was wonderful, I love how ultimately friendly they are to Alphonse especially, and even in a degree to Edward. I feel like we got a little more time with these characters in the manga, which was great. I also always love Edward's little chemistry lesson when he's fighting against Greed - I will never forget the human body's carbon composition.

Ultimately, this feels like such a turning point in the story - it was already incredible, but from here on out, I know it just becomes increasingly more amazing.
