Thoughts: Since my childhood, I have wanted to start reading the Harry Potter series. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (Harry Potter, #1) exceeded my expectations. The fantastic character development of Harry, Hermione, and Ron captivated me throughout reading this book. I can't wait to dive into book #2, as book #1 exceeded my expectations.

Synopsis: An orphaned boy enrols in a school of wizardry, where he learns the truth about himself, his family and the terrible evil that haunts the magical world. On his eleventh birthday, Harry Potter discovers that he is no ordinary boy.
