I needed an audiobook while driving home, and it's a 6-7 hour car ride, so it needed to be an exciting book. I picked up this book, and it's my first Kent. This is like a secondary series; the parents have their books, too, but this is where I started. I cannot get enough of this series, and I'm trying to stay with the audiobooks because I love them so far, and it's helping me not just devour it book after book. This book focuses on Glyndon and Killian, and it is so dark! I honestly had no clue how these two would end up together because they were completely random; they couldn't stop fighting, and he loved tormenting her. It always felt like something new would happen whenever they finally started to get on the same page and shatter everything they created between them. But eventually, they could work through their many issues and make things work. I got Tessa/Hardin vibes but on a whole new level.
Graphic: Sexual assault, Sexual content, and Violence
Moderate: Mental illness, Suicidal thoughts, and Torture
