OMG I loved this book so much! I immediately went and got the second one on hold at my library. This book follows Ash and Marcus on their journey for Marcus to train with his phantom and become a yellow-robe. There is political intrigue, incredible worldbuilding, lovable characters that are witty and sarcastic, and the concept of the phantoms was unexpectedly fun.
Go read this book!
