Honestly? The most disturbing book I’ve ever read. Some of the descriptions will probably never leave my brain. That being said—this is a phenomenal book. The tone that the author has truly can’t be beat, and she truly seems to understand the mind of the main character. The cynical, almost detached way that he thinks is just brilliantly written, I read this book all in one sitting. Would I recommend it to any of my friends. No. They would find me insane. But if you’re in to horror / disturbing themes, this is right up your alley.
