I surprisingly found this decently enjoyable. Although I did not like the use of racial slurs from a white author, or the white-saviour complex of Atticus doing the bare minimum, I found this to be really interesting. The case of Tom Robinson was really interesting, and I thought it provided some insight to the racial injustices of the 1930’s in the Deep South of the US. I liked that I recognised Montgomery and Birmingham counties from learning about Martin Luther King Jr, and contextualised the settings a bit. A decent classic.
