This book was just WOW. This mystery thriller is one of those books that I just couldn’t put down once I started reading. A common theme shown is just how far people will go in their greed in order to maintain money and power. The way Summer, the antagonist, would constantly forget about her ‘best friend’ Belle in situations whether it be leaving her for other friends, men or money, always rubbed me the wrong way. Especially when Belle would go out of her way to take care of her friend in her times of need. I’d also like to say that that trait is a pet peeve of mine because although Belle knew Summer walked all over her boundaries and disrespected her, she never really stood up to her until the end of the story.  The writing style was amazing especially for the plot twists with the Present and Flashback. halters because we get to see Belle’s thoughts for everything Summer put her through and how she ended up being the person who came out on top and got her HEA.
