I loved the storytelling way more than I thought I would, but a large part of that was Tom Hanks as the narrator. He is just so good. I really enjoyed the pace and the span of decades. I thought the different age-specific perspectives from the time he was a boy, all the way to late adulthood was so believable and emotional.
