My first book by T. Kingfisher and it was delightful.
It was such a nice story that didn't take itself too seriously.
The magic system was so unique, I don't think I've read anything similar so far. I also really enjoyed the creative ways in which dough can be used for battle.
What I also liked was that there wasn't a romantic aspect wedged in there just for the sake of having one. The story was perfect without one.
I had a fantastic time listening to the audio book.
