Thylacine: The History, Ecology and Loss of the Tasmanian Tiger by Branden Holmes, Gareth Linnard

dark hopeful informative reflective sad

5.0

Overall a good and mostly comprehensive book on these animals we know relatively little about. Some of the more scientific aspects might be a bit hard to grasp (at least for me) and I do wish they didn't just go into the nitty-gritty, but also covered some more surface-level topics such as what thylacines exactly looked like. But overall this is still a very solid and up-to-date book on the topic.
