This was an enjoyable romcom, full of weather related puns and a colorful cast of characters. Overall I really liked Ari and it was refreshing getting to see a character with mental illness whose love interest doesn’t “fix” her, but instead accepts her how she is.

There was something missing out of the romance for me though - I just didn’t feel the chemistry between her and Russell enough. I wanted more buildup! More suspense! More pining!

The conflict near the end of the book (with Ari’s boss, no spoilers) felt really lackluster to me too, and felt wrapped up way too quickly.

Overall this was a fun read, but it didn’t leave me feeling warm ann fuzzy and satisfied like other romances have.
