This is a novella taking place in Sel / but feels much different than Elantris.

I really enjoyed the soulstamping magic system and the idea of changing an options history in order to create a new state of being. The overall concept was incredibly interesting and I wish there was more too it than what we were given.

The personal information of where Sanderson got his inspiration for this novella was also a great read. He is truly and amazing author to be able to take something as small as "stamp" signatures in Asian culture and turning them into a whole intricate magic system.
