I read this in a day, which means I couldn’t put it down. It was a build up throughout the book, a couple of times I was gnawing my fingers because the anticipation of something about to happen kept you edging (no, not in that way get your heads out of the gutter 🤣). Read the trigger warnings…CVS or blatant invitation but do, for me it wasn’t overly dark but then I may or may not be a little 🤪

Firethorne is a place no female wants to be, the men may be affluent and good looking but what lies beyond is sinister and depraved. Our FMC, Maya ended up there through no fault of her own, her father need the work and being his only family left she went too. The storyline moves slowly until it all hits you at once, certain parts become apparent, secret and betrayals out in the open. It does end on an HEA which ever way you look at it 😈

Really enjoyed this read for a Sunday afternoon 😊 Not too dark and flowed through.
