The Children of Red Peak by Craig DiLouie
5.0
This book was a fun horror with lots of twists and turns to it. All grown up, the characters in this book used to be involved in a cult when they were children. After ALL, the families in the cult disappeared without a trace only leaving these kids (who were sensible and hid, while the 'end' of the world was happening). These now adults, go on a journey together to discover (whether they can handle the truth or not) what happened to their families. I enjoyed all of the characters and their growths in the book while they uncover the truth of exactly what went down.
