๐ Alternating 1st Person POV; Dyslexia Rep; Available on KU
Iโm not sure where to begin when talking about this book. I felt like I never knew where the story was going to do, which I loved! I went into this book fairly blind and loved how suspenseful it was from the very beginning.
I adored these characters; Dally was strong, even when she was afraid and Rook was the protector without ever being domineering. I also loved how the author used dyslexia to strengthen the characters and their bond, while normalizing a very common learning difference.
I also want to give a shout-out to the author for how they wrote this ending. There was just enough time between the climax and the ending of the book, that the story felt fully fleshed out and not rushed, like so often happens.
