I didn't necessarily end this book loving Matthew Perry, but I did respect him for his journey to sobriety -- and what a journey it was! I learned a lot about addiction and detox and a lot more. That was the "big terrible thing" part of the book and the most interesting. The "Friends" part of the book was interesting, too. The "lovers" part...not so much.
