This book is such a valuable resource on Wisconsin history, shining a spotlight on the specific Indian nations who live here and their unique histories. Patty Loew covers a ton of complicated topics within each chapter with extremely clear and accessible language. I'm glad that I read the 2nd edition because the examples/news she added in were all really interesting - I hope there are more editions to come! Reading this not only made me feel more informed about our history but also think about what I can take away and apply to my work going forward. Highly recommend!
