I absolutely loved this book! The world, the characters, the storyline—everything was so well-written and interesting. I knew straight from the beginning that this was going to be a 5-star read.
Sword of the Seven Sins is the first book in The Seven Sins series. The book is told from two points of view: FMC Eva and MMC Ari.
The main characters live in a dystopian world ruled by sin. For example, love is considered a sin, and lust results in a death sentence.
The world-building was well-executed. I loved learning about the world, including some of its history, etc. The world seemed unique and truly interesting.
The FMC ends up becoming a bellator, an assassin, and the MMC ends up being her unwilling mentor. I enjoyed the training sessions between the main characters; they reminded me a bit of Fourth Wing.
I adore the chemistry and banter between Ari & Eva. And the slow burn was so good 🔥 I can’t wait to see how their relationship develops in the future. I also loved how fierce and strong Eva was and how she didn’t need anyone to save her.
The writing was amazing; I really enjoyed Emily’s writing style, especially the character interactions. I couldn’t put the book down and can’t wait to start the next book in the series.
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.
