I have been looking forward to this book for so long… a baker and a tattoo shop owner?? Say less. However, I either absolutely loved what was happening in this book or absolutely hated it. The start of their relationship literally feels like a fever dream and I was confused on why Lola continued to talk to Ben when he was controlling and misogynistic. But also Ben did everything to protect Lola, so it was kind of understandable, but still not okay? I don’t know honestly. Also Ben literally couldn’t say a single sentence without saying “you’re mine” (like an “i like you” or even “I’m yours” would’ve been nice) and after this series, if I ever read the words “you’re mine” I just might DNF. It was good, but I also hated so much of it.
