The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab
5.0
This book was absolutely magical. I was hooked from the first few chapters and desperately wanted to finish it to know what happened but also feared it ending.
Such a brilliant concept, thought provoking as well as entertaining.
The character development is absolutely fantastic. You feel what Addie feels, the hatred for Luc and at the same time the fondness and love of the familiarity of him. The pain and frustration of being forgotten over and over again.
Henry’s section explaining his journey was the only part I found moved slowly as I feel it wasn’t as important in the development of the story. Yet I am likely biased as I was more interested in Addie. But other then that a truly wonderful read that I will surely read again and again.
