I've been excited to read this book since seeing the film trailer a few months ago. However, I think I thought that the book was a separate thing, rather than what it appears to be--a novelization of the movie. I'm pretty sure the movie actually came first, even if it is being released after the book. This isn't a problem, I just wish I'd known it going in. I really liked the book, though. The characters felt very real to me and I learned a lot about cystic fibrosis that I didn't know before. I had a good time reading this and I'm excited for the movie!
