While I liked the first, this was SO much better. Did I love it because of Rhysand? Maybe. Probably. Okay, yes, but the slow build love story and the yearning; oh boy, I liiiike.
Now that the rules of the world were established in the first book, it really felt like this book could delve deeper into the personal relationships and the little intricacies of each court. This book felt more complex and interesting, and I feel like it really sets up an epic conflict, while the first just kind of was self-contained. I cannot wait for the rest of the series.
