The Practice of Not Thinking: A Guide to Mindful Living by Ryūnosuke Koike

This book has potential. In the right hands and for the right person it an be huge chance to learn more about the way we think and how thinking and not thinking workmin our modern society, ful of bustling everyday.
When I read ghis book I thought it was pretty good. I learned things about my brain and how I think, I didn't know before. I also learned how I can control my own thoughts more and why that is important for my mental health.
Koike combines psychology perfectly and intricately with the teachings of Buddhist faith to help the reader find themselves and leads them on their way to a more thoughtful thinking with exercises and different techniques.
A thing I have to admit though, was that I found this actually a bit more hard to read language-wise and it took me some time because of that. I wouldn't particularly recommend this to readers who are new to reading in English. I can recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about Psychology and thinking.
