4.5 Heartfelt Stars

I enjoyed Hunter and Jess’s story. Both Jess and Hunter had me captivated from the beginning. Well written with plenty of drama, angst and steam.

Hunter drew me in from the beginning with his take charge attitude. Such a great Hero that shows us his emotions as if they were on his sleeve. Such a sweet, caring, and sexy character.

Jess is a no bullshit Heroine that doesn’t take shit from Hunter. Hesitant in wanting to give in to their relationship, knowing if things were to go South, she could lose the only family she has left.

I like that the author delved into each characters careers, giving a glimpse in their day to day profession. In one particular scene, my heart ached for the characters, it definitely hit home and had me on the verge of tears.
