I read this for my library's Books 'n' Brews book club. I liked it so much more than I thought I would because it's not my usual jam. I thought the characters were wonderfully multidimensional for horny, angsty teens. Even when they annoyed me with their horny angst, I had to admit I could relate for having been there once upon a time in a land far away. The murders were legit terrifying and the way it all played out was satisfying.
Huge bonus points for the reference to Tamora Pierce's Alanna books on pages 265-266. I read those books to the point of memorization as a twen and teen and I'm always (for some reason) surprised to find that other people also loved them.
