What a solid start. Yes I occasionally wanted to throttle Percy for not knowing his Greek myths but also, if you don’t want to at least facepalm at a 12 year old, they’re not being written well so props to Riordan for capturing that absolutely feral adolescent energy. Plot very good, kept me engaged even though I remembered the twist, well done.
